Offshore VPS in The Bahamas: what you actually get

"Offshore VPS" is a phrase that covers everything from serious jurisdictional planning to hosts that will take anyone's money. Here is precisely what ours is, what it costs, and the rules it runs under — so you can decide quickly whether it fits.

What offshore means here — and what it does not

That distinction is the whole point. The value of a Bahamian server is that your infrastructure lives under one clearly identified, regulated legal system, outside US and EU reach. A provider that ignores its own law offers no such thing — its customers are one enforcement action away from losing everything at once. We serve reputable, well-regulated clients, and we ask who you are before revealing server credentials.

Plans and prices

Four fixed plans, priced flat per month. A one-off setup fee applies on first provisioning. No egress charges, no per-request billing.

Need something in between, or bigger? The custom builder on the main site lets you pick each component and prices it live: 1 to 16 cores, 1 to 64 GB of RAM, 30 GB to 1 TB of storage on SAS, SSD or NVMe, with managed backup as an option. Custom builds are provisioned by our team after payment.

Operating systems: Ubuntu LTS, Debian, Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux and Kali. Linux only — we do not offer Windows virtual servers.

The network is the part that makes it offshore

This is the detail most "offshore" hosts skip: a server in the Caribbean addressed from a US-registered IP block, routed through Miami by default, is offshore in geography only. Ours is domiciled here at the address level as well as the rack level.

If you need more than the addresses that come with the server, dedicated IP blocks are available as a monthly add-on: a /29 block (5 usable IPs) with 20 Mbps starts at US$700 per month, with 50 Mbps and 100 Mbps tiers above it, and a /27 block (30 usable IPs) for larger deployments. All BGP-announced with redundant carrier connectivity.

Who it is for, and who it is not

A good fit: businesses handling regulated, privileged or commercially sensitive data that must sit under a non-US, non-EU jurisdiction; teams that want a Bahamian-domiciled presence for legal or contractual reasons; anyone who has been burned by a cloud bill with more line items than servers.

A poor fit: latency-critical consumer applications — Nassau is about 180 miles from Miami, workable for most business workloads but not a CDN edge; architectures that depend on a hyperscaler's managed-service catalogue; and anything the Acceptable Use Policy would not permit.

How provisioning works

1. Create an account on the main site. The free storage tier needs no card, so you can look around first.
2. Pick a fixed plan or build a custom server. Payment is by PayPal.
3. Accept the Acceptable Use Policy — a one-time step before credentials are revealed.
4. Fixed plans are provisioned automatically; custom builds are set up by our team after payment, and you are notified when the server is ready.
5. Your root credentials are shown in your account. Support is by phone and email, from Nassau, in your time zone or close to it.

Cancellation follows the published policy: virtual servers on monthly or quarterly plans can cancel at any time within the first 30 days; after that, eight days' notice before the next billing term.
